A double ended knitting stick. 19thc


A turned fruit wood knitting stick inset with pewter. Unusual in that it is double ended and of small size for a young girl.

The pewter is let into the wood and capped over the ends with holes for different gauges of knitting needle. The pattern on one end includes the letters P and A.

In excellent condition.

14 cm long  ( 5.5 inches )
1 cm in width.  (  under 1/2 inch )
